Anyone have an idea as to why my flight cranks creak when I pedal? It sounds really bad. I even greased the spindle but that didnt seem to work. Help me please!!

Try putting a little antiseize where the alum. chainwheel touches the metal crank arm, that should lighten up the creaking a little.

Mine creaked for awhile and it just took a little spot care and time for them to settle in. One thing that helped me was ample grease on the bb cups. Also, for some reason, putting grease on the pinch bolts was helpful too. Make sure (and I don't mean not to assume you don't know this already) that you tighten the spinlde bolt just to seat the arms, then tighten the pinch bolts, then get after the spindle bolt again to make it very snug. This order (as described by Redline too I believe) helped the creak-factor. Is your spacer evenly placed inside the BB? If you had to shave it down a bit and got it at an angle, that could be an issue.

Problem solved!!! I put a little bit of grease on the bolt between the gear and arm and that took care of the problem. Thanks guy's for your help!!
