X-it
Picks up the pen and paper to take notes, looks back at the info... DOH! Foiled again!

How 'bout a set of 190's?

Good one Cruiser - doubt I'd be out of the gate b-4 you cross the finish line. Might work on the salt flats to set the World Record "Fastest top end speed for a 16" bicycle."
pgringo- skyway pit mags take a standard 16 or 17 gear.
With these types of friends, who needs enemies?
Time to put on the 36" bars.

Hey Jim I put a flip-flop hub on my kids' Haro pit. He currently has a 40/14 on it.

Shameless plug: I run 39-16 on my pit, which happens to be listed in the "for sale" section!
It's about the tallest gear I could fit, since a larger chainring would rub on the chainstay and 16t is the smallest freewheel that fits on a skyway. It's still kinda low, but that's part of what makes it a real pitbike.
I think the hot setup would be to run a flipflop hub with a 14t freewheel on the small side. If you could get the parts together( you'd need a 16" rim w/ 36 spoke holes, or a 28hole f/f hub, both kinda rare, I think) you'd have a HUGE advantage.

Cornfed beat me to it while I was busy typing...

28H cassete hub would do the trick foe show.

Nice work battle cruiser. I assume your running a fat tire on the back of your pit bike. A 16 x 1.75 is only 15.75 inches tall.
