I want to paint some rims to match a frame. I know the brakes won't really work so what should I do to mask the braking surface? Has anyone done this?

I've had rims powder coated, both masked amd unmasked. No problems.

Thanks. I'm thinking of doing it for the Quad 24" on Odyssey T1000 rims.
