Does anyone have any idea what a set of Aerospeeds are worth with a broken spindle?
The total damage includes:
Broken Spindle
Missing end bolt and wedge
One broken bearing (although case is intact)
Missing powerdisc.
The good news is that the original box, warranty card and fitting instructions are intact!
I have been told that a new spindle could be made by a machine shop although I do not have the energy or inclination to get this done.

they are worthless....send them to me!!!!! just kidding....the spindle is a lot cheaper than the cranks. they pop up from time to time on ebay. i've never had a machine shop do something like that, i'm sure it can be done though..good luck!

I saw an aerospeed spindle go for big bucks recently. I think they were known for breaking. Get in touch with Jeff or Richie Haney. They are the keepers pretty much everything HUTCH! LOL (well almost everything.) Maybe they can tell you how much it's gonna cost ya or at least give you some great advice for restoring them. They are both great guys, with a lot of good suggestions.

Wow original box and warranty card and instructions thats rare in itself , even with a the broken parts if put on eBay the set may sell for $1000 If I'm not mistaken the average price a complete aerospeed crank has been going for is $1000-1500 and that doesn't matter what shape its in , seeing you have the broken parts but the original box ..etc it may go for that , people always want aerospeed cranks!!
