I have a Tri-Moly Redline Serial# 86020172 also with Redline and Tri-Moly stamped under the bottom crank bracket by the serial numbers. Would like to know what model and year (era) this frame is. Bottom frame tube is oval shape.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Weren't they from between 1984 and 1986? I remember seeing quite a few around the time when the Schwinn Predator CrMo was out and other companies started building "beginner" race bikes, like the SE Assassin or Bronco and the GT Mach One...

I could be wrong tho.

in the serial number, the "86" (85, for dvs' frame) is the year of production. typical frame production from taiwan runs about 6 months ahead of real time, so bmx joe's bike could be a later '86 model or early '87 model (dvs' frame later '85/early '86). as far as the model(s), that could be several different ones. are these frames race or freestyle? as always, pics help.
