I just thought this was cool. I was going through some old stuff the other day and found this envelope from the bike shop. From my 1st Hutch!!! I wish it had the entire parts list on it, but it didn't. This is what was inside:

I had the old warranty card too. I guess I never sent it in, but it is filled out and stamped.

So if anyone comes across that serial number let me know, it would be cool to know where it ended up.
Again here's how it looked by '87, just before I sold it to get a new Haro. And I will have the reproduction of it in Rockford at the end of this week!

Not as exact as in that picture up there, more like a year or so before that. I had it about a year and then had the white FF painted candy green. My repro is now that green. I had a white Redline Forklifter stem on it originally and almost the entire time I had it until I broke it and then it had an ACS rotor stem on it, which my repro has. I'd like to get another Redline one when I can find one. I also originally had an orange Skyway hot seat and green Hutch FS tires. My repro has those. My original also had orange 1-pc cranks but I put flights on my new one because I always wanted them back then, so I put them on now. Basically except for the straight seatpost, Redline cranks, and Dia-Compe hinged seat clamp that I have on my repro, every other part is a part that was on it at one time. The parts that are totally the same as my original one on the day that I got it are the F/F, Bars, grips, levers, Skyway Hot Seat and mags with coaster brake, Hutch tires, chainring and disc, and Skyway pegs in the back.

No, it's closed. There's something else there now. They had another shop on 91st and Western that may still be open, but I'm not sure. That one was called Beverly Schwinn.

Yeah I hear ya. With the shows in the parking lot and all the cool parts you guys had in there. I was wondering if you may have written that out too. Weird if you did. I think I have one for a Haro that I bought there too. I know I have one of those envelopes form the shop with a Haro manual that came with the bikes in it. I think the receipt is in there too. You have any of the old Burbak Schwinn stickers that you would put on the frames? It would be cool to get a couple for a couple bikes of mine. One of them is one of my Haros that actually did come from there that I've had since back then.
