There is that "Bike Source" logo, that was on RL's number plate that I always thought look cheapy - I guess that was all there was to that logo.....

Looks like Darren is in need of some serious cashflow & is ready to leave the country on the next flight out to Japan.

There is a B&W photo in the BMXA issue that covered that "NASVILLE TENNESSEE" race meeting with Buff & RL both jumping off a trick ramp & you can see Darren watching them in the background crowd.
I can distinctly remember Darren & I both looking over the magazine when it was new at the race track bitd & he was pointing himself out in the crowd & giving me a detailed story about how they did the trick , twice because the first time they didn't quite pull it off properly & both landed like a ton of bricks... oddly tho Darren never mentioned or bragged to me that he scored RL's BMXA trick riding shirt when he was over in the US.
Darren was not the type of guy to ever miss the chance of making a good story sound even better , belive me.

With a lack of _any_ signature's on the jersey or some kind of 3rd party verification as to it's authenticity , I wouldn't be in any hurry to put a bid on it.

He was a cool enough guy to hang out , ride & talk with whenever the opportunity arose bitd , but when it comes to financial dealings , I just can't bring myself to entirely trust the guy.
Thats just my experiences with him , I have no serious issues or problems with him , just passing on something to think about...before buying something very spendy from him.

The description that he gives on how he got the jersey, reminds me of the old "MEAN JOE GREEN" Coca-Cola commercials.

isnt buffs jersey up on the bay too... what a coincidence,, that price is way too steep...i'm thinking the most some crazy guy would buy for is about $500.

Even without my input on the seller..
Without a signature or 2 on a used old school jersey , number plate , bike frame etc etc. The gear isn't worth any more than it's RRP + inflation from bitd (imho)

Besides if a pro was cool enough to personally sign
something for you bitd you keep it , frame it
or flaunt it whenevr you can...
