I've been riding around the neighborhood with my wife and baby, but that's about it. I got my wife's Quad built up and we got a trailor for our baby that I have hooked up to my Master. I still haven't made it out to my local track yet which opened around Mother's day, but I'll be riding there as soon as I get a chance.

Yup, same story here. Pulled the rider Street Beat out a little today and did, er "tried" a few tricks while my boy and my friend's two kids were riding.
But the real story is my boy.
I wasn't feeling too good on Thursday so I pulled the "work from home" card. Friday was just too blurry so I called in full on sick. Well, my wife has to go out of town to help her mom and sister get settled in their new place so I'm solo all weekend on kid detail feeling really sick with the flu.
But I can't keep the boy cooped up all weekend so I try to get out a little. So, I figure I'll walk him down to the sandwich place and get a bite. He's 3 and has a 12 inch bike with training wheels and is getting used to using the coaster brake but hasn't been too keen on the hills. So, I get a coiled cable lock out and wrap it around his seat post as a kind of leash.
Works great and he's starting to get a little more confidence. So, we go grab a sandwich and I throw in another subliminal lesson about locking his bike up while we eat.
He's doing great and loving it so I walk him all the way into the park already pretty psyched on his progress. Well, he take a little slam - one of his first. He gets a little teary but jumps right back on. I am really happy for him now. We go to the playground, loop back, I give him just a little tow up a couple mellow hills. But, he pretty much did the whole run. Way more than he's done before and he's psyched so of course, I'm psyched that he's psyched. I guess I like seeing the determination the most.
Well, today we go down and get a buritto but he's not eating so I'm not too happy. On the way back we meet up with my housemate and his two kids and just start hanging out in front then the bikes come out. Well, all of the sudden, the little bike king is pedalling halfway up the hill, turning around on his own, pedalling down the hill then jamming on the brakes skidding about 3 feet!!! Something he's never done. After one day he's ready to show off to the other kids!
I still feel really sick but I had a great weekend!

Nearly every weekend I get out on my Redline or s/goose for a spin with the family. After work is no good for me. It's dark by the time i get home and I'm usually stuffed.

Been riding a lot actually or, whenever my joints/body is not hurting too much ..from riding so much. Comes with the age i guess. I remember how you could ride for hours and hours without end and you could still go on and on. This past week(end) was great, nice weather (still..) to test out the rides i have built in winter/spring to see if and how they actually work. The Street beat rider and the Carraro resto.

Ballcourts, saturday.
Nearby basketball flats are my favorite place, just 15 minutes away and i'm a regular there on my bike. On weekends there's some more ball players but never really crowded i would say. In fact most of the time it's like abandoned. That's the place for me whenever i want to practise or just keep up my skills or take riding photos. I'm the only rider that goes there regularly, i'd say the surface is the best in whole city in my opinion and there's always free space.

At the truck loading docks yesterday.
I'm so happy about these new "riding" photos on my first BMX, sorry for stuffing them everywhere and plain repeating myself. I'm just stoked. I calculated some distances the other day, i mean how long journeys i'm pedaling whenever i'm "cruising around" the city/nearby while listening to music etc. Turned out one of the trips was 25,8 kilometers (16,3 miles). No wonder i'm knackered every time i get home.
Life's definitely not been showing the best sides for me & family since the beginning of this year but it is slowly starting to look better so i'm going to take the best of it and enjoy life while it smiles at me.

Most of mine is either here at work during lunch---I always keep one of my bikes here in my office---or, finally starting to get some rides in with my wife, towing...yup, the baby trailer!
We both keep saying we need the exercise, now we're starting to do it.
Haven't been to the park in ages.
But at least I'm riding...

Riding's been a little bit slim for me too lately. Had a bunch of rain saturday here in orlando and kept us from the usual saturday noon session. I managed about 10 minutes sunday evening. I hit a couple of hang five links and some firehydrant combos.
Had a nice ride with the lady sunday afternoon though on some nice paved bike trails here near me. I rode one of my trickstars and did a framestand along the way.

I've been fortunate enough to get on my new T/A 3-4 times a week for an hour or two the last few weeks...still kinda getting back in the swing of things and adjusting to it.
Got a few modifications to make and will post a "review thread" in a few weeks with pics.
It's great to finally be back in the saddle...

I finally got to ride yesterday. I fixed a broken spoke on my WTP pony. Felt good. Have to do more.

I went to the trails last friday ready to shred, and my bars slipped over the first set.
So we rode some street after going back to tighten my stem ( yah, i'm stupid for not having an allen wrench on me).
Went back out on Sunday and my bars slipped again, but only after a dead sailor/faceplant combo over some sandy doubles.
I can no longer count past 10, but that's ok cuz my watch has a calculator.
