i'm skeptical...

yes, there were some chrome protos, but is this really one of them?

green/white/orange production bikes are shown in the June '85 BMXA. that issue would have been in our hands by May '85 (maybe even April). so why would a proto be dated as late June '85? the production color bikes had to have been made by march/april to make the June issue.

one of the mail-order places had them listed as already available in that same June '85 issue.

I wonder if those forks are actually "correct". I remember Drob saying that Skyway made TA forks for the team that didn't have a rake to them, like standard-issue TA forks, so I wonder if the prototype Street Beat would have no-rake versions also. Just thinking out loud.

Nice frame for sure.
