Ok last week I posted pics of my Fiola inspired GT performer. This week I finally got the smaller cranks to fit and the NOS 16" GT tires to finish up the pit version. Y'all might have seen this before when it wasn't 100% done, but now it is. Let me know what you think. Before and after pics.

Those are awesome Mark !! I had the same (yellow) 20 incher back in the day !! only mine had the white alloy flange tuff wheels,,,, and white parts etc. !

Hey Maurice - well spotted on the ROM sticker! That 20" Performer is my original one from BITD and I restored the chainring around that sticker. Rom skatepark was my second home.

I never saw any kids riding those pit bikes around back in the 80's. Did they not make a lot?

Why do they call them pit bikes anyway?
