What brakes on world tour gt from 1985? levers and calipers?

890s with tech 4 levers on low end models (performer, dyno compe). 900s w/ tech 4s on higher end (pro performer, world tour).

typically the frame breaks at the seat tube. Also the forks were pretty weak, especially the dropouts. Usually the forks were bent out, or snapped off at the headtube.

I'd put on nippons, personally, with some tech 77's with locking levers.
