I picked this bad mama jama last night. Everything is great other than he welded the spider to the crank arm ( photos in another thread )

Spicoli
great bike w/ some awsome parts, sux about the cranks though....
Dave Muggleston
Dizamn, that's one hizell of a skizore.

Seriously. That is an awesome bike. Needs a few bits (tires, a front Nippon, some sorting out to the crank/sprocket area) but still, wow.

Are you sure that the crank arm is welded to the spider?

Technically you can't weld chromolly to alloy. Maybe it's still good.

is the fork satin finish or chrome? cant tell from the pic.
WVBMXER
the fork was chrome but it looks like someone took steel wool to it, but that does not matter because soon it is at my painter right now and is going to be orange by next week.
Smokin Endo
you stripped that bike ?
WVBMXER
no I did not strip that bike if you mean taking off the paint but I did take it all apart because I am using every thing on it other than the grips, seat post clamp, tires, and frame two finish off two other builds.

Are you going to use the damaged cranks on anything ?
WVBMXER
yeah If you look in the other thread "group one crank help" there are detailed pictures of the crank. I did what roberto had done with his by covering up the damaged part.
jesboogie
Wicked cool. I had that same bike BITD, set up with black tuffs. Nice memories there.
