I haven't, but man...I don't think the picture could get any worse lol. A drawing would have been better than that blurry thing.

I don't understand how people can't get photos that are in focus, especially when it's a pic of something they're selling. You'd think you want the product to be represented in the best possible "light".

Anyway, sorry I couldn't answer your question and for the rant. lol

i have one. it works, seems that its works better than a nankai freecoaster.

they sold it so cheap that they didn't give me feedback, so beware of that issue.

you're saying it works better than a Nakai? that has to be a mistake. There's just no way. well actually it probably does work better as a coaster brake lol. but no way as a freecoaster.

it never "sticks" or backpedals. it can be engaged for forward pedaling but the spring pulls it out like its supposed to... thats what get's me annoyed with the nankia (where it will just keep back pedalling til i kick the crank).

it was well worth the 16 bucks (total cost).

id rather have a suntour, but they're hard to find.

I have a Nankia on a set of NOS Peregrine Super Pro wheels, and I hate to use them with it on there.

I can not get the bearing adjustment right. Either too tight of too loose.

KT makes the hubs that eBay seller m2mphatwheels builds all those wheels with, the ones w/ the colored spokes. Taiwan stuff, but ya know, pretty decent, surprisingly. Well, for that price, I can't see how you could go wrong trying it, just the cost of lacing one into a wheel.

I've had Nankai (Techno-Lite) for 3 years straight on my rider without problems. It was my second freecoaster after riding Suntour hubs for years.

Adjusting Nankai might take a while though but the technique isn't really different from adjusting any other loose/caged ball bearing applications like bottom brackets, hubs, headsets ..or a Suntour hub for that matter. The current Nankai's are far more advanced than the early gen models that came out in 1993-ish.

The KT coaster looks good to me although i too have to admit the photo really sucks. I'm guessing the internals of the KT are probalby as good as on a say, Suntour. Suntour is classic and all and it's my personal favorite too because of the memories, but let's face it, the Suntour guts are far from precision in today's standards, let alone the wacky pressed-on flanges that used to pop out under heavier riding or radial lacing.
If there wasn't such long history/myth/hype behind the Suntour hubs and if they'd still manufacture them, i wouldn't be surpriced if THEY were the ones available for the $7 today.
