Did Peregrine Masters or the equiv. OGK labeled mags ever come with reflector tabs like this?
Real deal or no?

Thanks, but that's the "Hutch" style OGK... not the Peregrine style...

Cool... thanks guys... never saw peregrines with tabs. Did only the decade pro come with 990s? Can someone confirm if the bike in the pic is a decade pro?

Huh, I never noticed tabs on any Peregrines...that's why I like this site- I'm always learning something new.
Not sure about the Decades but there are a few people on here that collect them. My guess is that is is a pro.
I have a regular 87 in seafoam green.

MY HARO SPORT HAD THEM AND I WAS GOING TO GET THE REFLECTORS TO GO WITH THEM BUT I SOLD IT. THE ACS REFLECTORS WILL FIT THE MAGS WITH TABS FOR A COMPLETE BIKE SHOP LOOK.

The OGK's that had Peregrine Master stamped on them did not have reflector tabes. The regular OGK's did come with the reflector tabs. On my set back in the day I just used a file to get ride of the ugly tabs.

Those are regular OGK mags you can tell by how thick each blade of the star is. The OGK's had the tabs but REAL Peregrine's didn't and when they sold a complete bike with Peregrine mags that had to have reflectors (by law) they would simply add the reflectors that have the little metal teeth to grab the lip of the wheel.
As for the Decade... I'm almost positive that all Decade Pro's had the chrome on the standing platform but all Decades had the 990's
I'll try to get some pics to back this up in a short while

Osaka Grip Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (OGK) made the wheels that we think of as "Peregrines", which were branded "Peregrine" as well as "OGK". The Peregrine-branded versions did not have reflector tabs. The OGK-branded versions did have reflector tabs. The pics above show the OGK-branded version, probably because the Peregrine-branded versions hadn't yet come out.
OGK also made what we think of as the Hutch "star" wheels, also under their own name as well as Hutch's name. I believe that both brands of this type of wheel came with reflector tabs.

I looked at my Decade this morning and while it has the centerpull brake mounted underneath the stays they are not 990.

To my knowledge 1988 Mongoose Decade Pro was the first one of them to have actual 990's U-brake instead of centerpull brake. If anyone ever has one for sale i'm interested (i mean the frame & fork..)

I was reading this thread the other night and always like the style of the OGK/Peregrines, and tonight with the BIN picked these up. Was i right? lol
They look ok, the fronts spray bombed and the back look cleanish
The Frame i believe is a NZ made 80's Pantha Mk2
