Is this the same as what Woody use to ride. Anyone have pics of his bike with it? Was it converted to a freehub? Was it originally built with suntour guts?

Does this help as reference?

rimspoke2
Nice. But is that woodys bike? What did he run on the front? SST? ACS? What was so special about this hub besides the race lace and it being alloy?

End of auction...and the the rich get richer...

Wow, hard to tell what that item would have went for with a better description and catagorized correctly!

There were only 162 people who saw that auction!

Good eye James!

(it was catagorized in sporting goods/parts/lights)

Thats over $700 in coaster brakes for twintoptuber this month.
Chevron Envy
Wow, I have a budget of $27.25 per month for spoke nipples and $72.00 worth of chroming.

Just sayin', that's all.

Jeebus. I have one built into a wheel. (Fat spokes and a chrome Araya 7X rim.) I didn't think people were that nuts over them.
I think I offered to give mine to Woody a few years back, but he already had a few.
I think mine was green, and then was stripped to silver. If I remember correctly, it has a small crack in the steel part of the shell.
rimspoke2
There is a steel part? Are the flanges pressed onto the steel hub shell?
mr coasterbrake
yes. well, sora. it's a steel sleeve pressed into the aluminum shell.

Thanks fellas,

Just received it yesterday and really excited to have another one. My Itson was never loose, it's been laced since day one over 20 years ago. These hubs are heavy as this new one weighed in at 2.6 lbs. Cool seeing the wear marks on the hub, would love to know what frame housed it.
Gooser
A 2.6 pound hub? Yikes!
