picked this up at the swap today, cause it looked neat and I've never seen anything like it! It's a caliper brake that fastens both on the brake bridge and kinda sandwitches the seat stays...it's missing a couple small pieces, but I can make them pretty easily...it says " GT GRABBER PATENT PENDING" on it..anybody know anything about these?

I'm thinking prototype, even though it says Pat. Pending. on it, and definitely midschool era. Very cool, hopefully someone here has some info on them.

I've never seen anything quite like that before but I like it. It kind of reminds me of something Chad Herrington would have made.

Awesome. Looks very "Rube Goldberg"-ish. Reminds me of a new school Torker for sale down at Budget Bicycles in Madison. It's decked out for flatland with a custom billet 990 brake bridge mounted in a similar fashion.
