Guav

You can see the rest of the pictures here at my Flickr page—and you can click on the "All Sizes" link above each picture to see it larger (I have other BMX/Freestyle-related sets here).

I'd write something about the day, but I just spent the last several hours downloading, editing, cropping and uploading these pictures, so I'm beat. Everyone else who attended can do a short write-up, I gotta go to sleep

Guav, you are the man when it comes to photos.
Thanks for coming along with us.
I hope you just as much fun as we did.
Guav
I had a great time, thanks for the ride.

I wish I coulda gotten more individual pictures of the bikes, but people didn't really bring them down to the garage. Oh well. Just seeing them all was amazing.

Brian kicks ***.

I almost went... seriously. I'm so ****ed I didn't go. i was so close to going. Aghjkl!!!!

Guav, do we live in a parallel universe or are all 30 something white guys exactly the same....
please don't answer that.
Guav
We are all clones dude—I think almost every dude on this site is 33 or 34 years old.

That'd have been too funny if you showed up today.
pwh4130
Rob and I were joking about how we didn't get any pictures but it didn't matter because Guav waas there and he'd get the best ones anyway!

I had a fun day. I passed up doing a show and some good money and it was totally worth it. I got to see some great bikes, the craziest garage and have a lot of fun. It was so funny to meet new people and realize that we all grew up doing the same exact things. We would have all been riding buddies. Drob described it as a high school reunion where you like everybody.

One of my favorite things was when 3 bears came out of the woods and went into the neighbor's yard and hung out tearing apart the trash. We all sat there watching them from about 30 feet away. I love how bizarre events and BMX always seem to go hand in hand with each other.

Big thanks to Brian and his family. What a great time. Brian's 3 year old son, Cooper, even helped build the wedge ramp. I told him he had to sign the ramp since he helped build it but he couldn't write his name so he just drew tornados on it with a sharpie. Full family effort.

Really good day. It was nice meeting all these people from the site and putting names with faces. Frankenripper, Jesse James, Unfitskip...Very cool. Thanks Brian. -Chris Gulich

I tried to take pictures of the bears, but I only had my wide-angle len, so being 50' away actually looks like I was a mile away hahaha ... I uploaded two pics of the bears but they just look like black blotches. That was definitely insane.

I think next BBQ I have to bring my wife Bea and make her the official photographer so that I can hang out more and ride and stuff. Then I can be like "I didn't get any pictures but it didn't matter because Bea waas there" hahaha

I didn't even realize Skip was there until 2 minutes before he had to leave—I know him from back in the day because we both did 'zines. He actually had three issues of my old 'zine, SPEWAGE, with him. I wish I had had a chance to hang with him and look at 'zines!

Party was off the hook.

Cool pics........ looks like it was a blast!

Loved the wedge. Time to start building a quarter for next year. Maybe somebody can locate one of the old manufacturer's touring trailers with a built-in ramp. How cool would that be to have somebody roll-up in one of Haro's old trailers loaded with their VBMX collection. And Brian Blyther riding shot-gun!

Would love to see Brian's garageshop in person - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Who are the winners in each class? I talked to Stephan right after he left the Brawl. He told me everything. If it wasn`t for the baby coming next month I would have been there.

I posted in the other thread last night but I BIG thank you to Brian and Mrs. P for letting this happen.

HUGE thanks to Jon who dialed my 990's after watching me fumble around for a while. AntDog tried to fix what I messed up, and I certainly appreciate that, but in the end it was too far gone and Jon decided to save us-LOL.

Next year you should disqualfy past winners from entering their bikes as all I heard on the ride home was how Loopy's GHP won first place

The dude who fixed the keg

Overall, a great event and good times.

Jamison

Oh yeah, for the record- I wasn't licking my seat.

Great photos and looks like everyone had a great time. Been waiting for the photos since the event was announced.

I couldn't believe they were bears until some-one confirmed it. Something us Aussies find a bit difficult to understand I guess.

That was a blast! Thanks Brian P and family. You throw a mean brawl!

I was pretty blown away by those bikes. You guys are crazy! In a good way. Good thing I don't have enough room to store many bikes or I'd be sucked in. Sweet bikes.

Just wish there was enough time to really talk to everyone. What a turnout.

I'm still in shock that Todd is giving me the Orange Street Beat. Totally speechless. Thanks a lot Todd. I will cherish that bike with the other momentos of the Skyway years that I've saved. You did a great job on that bike.

And last but not least, props to the Jawn crew for putting me up and putting up with me.

Awesome weekend.
