He said it was in to bad a condition to sell in the showroom. I'm so stoked , I have wanted a trickstar forever and now I got one for 2 bucks.

The Goodwill stores here are all like that. Bikes must be in good working condition and visually presentable or they meet the dumpster. I can't imagine all the bikes that have been destroyed. There should be a ton of bikes here and around Rockville. Haven't found many at all.

My vote as well for score of the year. There ain't anything I've seen here come close.
Even an import jobbie, I'd have snagged it at 200 let alone 20! That's still cheap these days...for just a TS frame without anything!
Wow...just....wow!
Guess there's some still out there!

If I told my parents if they ever see a Hutch at goodwill to buy it. I would end up with a big wooden piece of furniture to put my china in. Great score.

Oct 12 2006, 03:44 PM
I am thinking of turning this into my daily rider. Is that crazy? I'm gonna clean it up and put on some newer components i.e. brakes, levers etc. Does anybody else out there have a trickstar as a rider?
RyanC
Oct 12 2006, 05:17 PM
Chevron - I thought Aerospeed disks were solid? That one appears to have holes in it?
I still can't believe that score! Sick!
