Pick this up yesterday, dont know the year, Just got home from work and wanted to post it. Dirty and all looks like it should clean up nice. Any idea on what kind of rims and hubs?

Peace ~ Tone

88 haro sport. post seat and clamp off a dyno...looks to me as if a dyno or gt was used to help build that up

if you decide to get rid of the f/f, let me know a price

Rims should be Peregrine HP's on 87-88 Sports I believe.
mnewxcv
look like ukai (peregrine) 48s, non hp. looks like 88 since im pretty sure all 87s had chrome forks. nice score.

The fork thing is a misnomer...as I was told in another thread a while back.

Check the serial to be sure but I think Brian P is dead on.

Here's the serial # H87105376 ....

ahhhhhh, 87....

Hey tone nice score. Let me know if you wanna get rid of those dirty, rusty old bars.

Those look like the original Araya rims with Joytech hubs.
Just like mine...

The frame could have been built in 87 but it still could be an 88 model year. When did kneesavers come out?

that color isnt on the color list avail for sports in the 88 catolog. they do look alot like your wheels paulie.

She's a late 87 and definatly not a Team.

The handle bars were only available from 88 onwards and were probably added on after.

What makes me puzzled is the sticker set is not in neon yellow lettering that the 87's had, that and the forks are black.
Brian P
roberto, thats what got me also. however as with my rider 87, the yellow "sport" faded to white. now for the forks......

Those rims look like araya's to me, they should be marked on the rims by the "air thingy"...
Pauly
That was my 87 survivor score from last Spring.
It has already been verified by mrcoasterbrake that Arayas w/ joytech hubs were standard equipment in 87.
