I know Bullseye (or should I say Roger) made 48 hole hubs at one point. I've seen a few pair recently, does anyone know what year(s) these hubs were available?
Any info is appreciated.

he pretty much always made them. they were originally intended for tandem use. not as common as 36 or 32, though.

The original owner of my Trick Star had a set of 48 spoke Bullseye hubs laced into some RL-Edge hoops. The frame has the '84-'85 Nora Cup sticker but I seem to remember the RL-Edge hoops being later - '87 or so.

Wow - tandem use huh? Who would have thought? Did tandem bikes always have 48H hubs on them? I learn something every day on this site.
Thanks for the info and pictures guys.
Well, I'm looking for a set if anyone has a pair they're looking to sell.

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m113/sy...ger/bull481.jpg There a little dusty, otherwise they are pristine condition. They're on an early Standard STA probably one of the very fist ever made in the mid 90s color is candy transparent blue. Bike is loaded with rare unusual items like 2 blue ano VG levers in mint shape. Sorry KCMO I'm keeping them.
