Here it is!
Thanks to Chris (YearOfTheCat) for donating me the set of GT 36's and the Tuf∙Neck chainwheel.
I put rear GT Pegs on, but he didn't have these on there. Also, he had a single left side front folding GT Fork Stand.....that I did not put since I did not want to scuff the fresh white paint
Notice the backwards mount front 900 brake...

Nice. I really like the Martin bike too. I loved how he'd always change up the forks and bars.

if i remember, you already have RLs hazzard yellow...
can i assume you are also working on an 86 haro sport, and bb's haro freestyler from the opening credits in rad? possibly christian's bike from the dance scene to compliment your cru jones replica?
jealousy does not even begin to describe it!
great work!

Thanks for all the compliments.
Paulie~ Going by the movie, it apears that both had somewhat of an aero style, not the fatter '85 GT Seats. I think I got the right Clamp on Martins bike, and Eddies might be too newer. If you got these parts....let me know
I have the Ron's Sport about done. I have the round color Mags though. I have White ones on it now.
I was concidering doing Christian's Red/Chrome Mongoose, but I wanted to take care of these first. Funny thing is though, the Mongoose that I used for Cru's bike, was a red/chrome model, complete
I put the rear black round pegs on Eddie's bike just so that infinity rolls would be easier.
I can give that bike to Brian Britt to ride for the re-inactment of the RAD credit scenes, since I heard that he likes to do so much now, other's around him tell him to stop

Very cool bikes !!!
....but has the thought of doing Gary Timmer's 24" BMX cruiser ever crossed your mind ???
Then instead of being just known as the dude "obsessed" with RAD will let people know that you're "possessed" instead bro !!!

Very nice Stephen...I would have liked to open the thread an hear the Rad music like you used to put in your auctions. Great job, Chris

Tony~
If that be the case, then I need to re-create every bike in the "Race".
I wonder, since there are many on this Board, if we could come up with all the bikes. Have to be the same color bike and all.

Nice build!

Stephen -
Burton Timmer (not "Gary" = my memory mistake!) wasn't in the race scenes of RAD though......or was he perhaps ???
..and maybe I never noticed that stoker hat of his as he passed Cru on Helltrack too..just maybe !
And that just maybe explains Christian yelling "Get Up!" before Cru even took that one dramatic spill also...just maybe even!!!

Sep 29 2006, 08:29 AM
Yeah, there was a 24" GT that Eddie was also riding in those credits, in the pipeline bowl.
