August 18th, 1992.
My '85 Street Beat the way it was set up for flatland in true 90's. Looks like i was in the middle of building it because of no rear brake yet. Had no idea i'd be collecting bikes one day. Golden memories.

PS, Glen might spot the bar end rollers.

The scar is from July 1986, my first serious bike injury. The bruise is from a kid slamming into me.

First build since discovering this hobby:

Pics of the old collection. Never thought of building any of them up, just liked coming home from work and handling each:

This is one of my favorite pics. Took this the day after I came home from Chip's house, lol. He was nervous powdering it, I was holding a flashlight to spot areas, Chip threw it in the oven and drank another beer and we both smiled when it was hung. This single event launched C4 labs and a friendship, thank you Chip!:

I can't remeber the year but I think it was an '88. I graduated in '87 and my brother was stiil in school. My dad and I went to Albes Bike shop and picked up his dream machine for a surprise b-day gift. He was floored to say the least.
Pete Q
Twin, is that green and black frame one of those Laser 2000's or something? (I don't know if I'm getting that name right)
twintoptuber
Ha, yeah it's a Jamis Laser. Those framesets/bars are way out of the box in freestyle.

My CW coming straight at ya....

Here I am doing some one footed hopping trick I thought of....

The sad part of the photo: The kid on the right on the CW California Freestyler. A couple of years ago he GAVE (he didn't know the value then) the complete bike to his neighbor who has kids and he told the dude the bike is theirs so the kids can ride it. We came to find out that the neighbor later THREW the complete bike in the DUMP because the rear tire wouldnt hold air!

June, 1987--no-footed endo gone wrong. The bike was a month old, and the original pedals had already busted--check out the el-crappo platforms I finagled for it.

Nice pics, guys.

I do sometimes get a chance to look in once in a while.

Nothing new here, Paulie. That's an old pic.

The next/last new bike thing I'm getting is the '07 Haro retro-Freestyler. I HAVE SEEN pics of the prototype frame and it is so smokin' that it's impossible for me to resist...
