Thats odd. I would suspect that was for a production make that was color matched. Like when Redline color matched the 880 DiaCompe brake's "lettering" to match the color scheme of the bikes....

Then agian, it is like those Peregrine seat clamps with the odd color decals - when do you really see those? They are in their ads, but I have never seen them.

I've seen those Peregrine seat clamp decal sets pop up, I dont know if they are re-pops though, but they have several different color stickers for them...

I had one with blk. lettering bitd. I've never seen one in that color until now. That's a great color though! I love chrome and blue color combo's!

peregrine seatclamps came with an assortment of decals so you could put on any color you wanted if you wished. I have a NOS one with the included decals.

ok ....I'll let you all in on it now. Roberto powdered an old beaten one and I had it re-machined. Rcrscott finished it off with a chrome on clear decal....pretty cool huh?
