It's always cool to see pics of others from bitd, so here are some of me and my crew:

Gotta love the helmet, rules were rules tho.(1984)
My brother at 9 years old.(1984)
It felt alot flatter when I was doing it.(1983)
This was our first attempt at a half(1988).
This is '89 and a full blown 16' wide parents nitemare
These are of my buddy Aaron, gonna try to get him to the Brawl (1989,1990)

This is my brother, loved doing flyouts.(1991)
The ramp used to be in a field, but thanks to development/real estate booms in the '90s it's gone.
I'll try to post some pics of the 'field' later. Gotta figure out what I'm gonna tell my neighbors why I'm taking pics of their backyard. LOL

Cool stuff.
Nice ramp contrruction progression...similar to mine...kinked quarter to cut-out transitions...
Very nice!

Sweet.

That first ramp looks like the offspring of a quarterpipe and a wedge ramp!

The first ramp was built by best friend and his dad in '84. I was on vacation with my family down in Virginia, and Tennessee ( Mom and Dad surprised me by going to a BMXA Trick team show in Murfreesboro).
When I got back I saw them finishing it up in their backyard. My folks said we could put it at the end of our driveway. Life was good, crooked jagged transitions and all.

Your "halfpipe" set up in pic is danged identical to ours. Kinked BMXA plans quarter on one end, nice 8' on the other.
To this day I still like riding wierd kinked ramps.
