I'm with oldskoolpk, you will regret it. I'm going through the pain and suffering of trying to find and rebuild the bikes I had 15-20 years ago, it is much easier to just keep them and put them away.

Stay wth me Matt...dont listen to the voices...sell to me.....please.

matt, just store it up at my shop...

what a hassle it would be to ship a HEAVY freestyle bike to Singapore....and just think of the crazy costs....(j/k..i know its a great bike) or trade him for that free agent freestyler that u got a bit ago...hmmmm....i feel that matt's email and PM box is getting more full by the minute.

I'm not an expert on prices, but your best bet would be to ebay it. I'd put the starting bid at the lowest you'd accept and see where it goes. That way either A) it sells and you get what it's actually worth on that day and time or B) it doesn't sell and you know the bike is worth more to you than the market will bear.

It only costs $20 or so to list on Ebay (though they take a cut if it sells). If it doesn't sell, you're not out much.

You better be really sure you want to sell it though. It's much easier to sell a bike than it is to find another like it to buy.

Ebay will give you true market value if you begin the bidding at a low price and don't have a reserve.

Just the notion of a reserve can de-value the ending price - no matter what anyone says. Look at the history of stuff with reserves - it ALWAYS ends for less money than reserve-less auctions.

The pyschology of the bidders changes towards the end of an auction that hasn't yet met the reserve. They begin thinking - "well, I probably won't cover the reserve anyway" and fail to place a bid.

Conversly, when the auction is live and dosen't have a reserve the winning bidder wins the item. There is far more positive reinforcement for the bidders to keep bidding.

Reserves are for things that you DON'T really want to sell. In which case, the item may be worth more to you than anyone else. Not that there is anything wrong with that either. I have plenty of things that money couldn't buy. Well, to a point. LOL.

Ultimately, only you can determine the value - it's the price that you would be willing to accept to transfer ownership from you to another person.

I sell cars for a living on ebay, every single one with no reserve. Chevron's right - It's the only way to fly.

Don't sell it !!! I had 2 as a kid...one got stolen and then I sold the other one when I moved on to playing golf...instantly regretted it !!! I'm glad to say I now have one again !!!

I start all my bike stuff at .99 with no reserve. Lots of good pictures are a must! and you should have decent feedback to get top dollar.

If you do that it will sell for what it is worth.

Part it out, you will get much more for it, not to mention it is easier to ship.

thanks guys..i will put it on e-bay and see what happens..but i probably will set a reserve..i dont wanna give it away for less than i think it should go for..
