I just listed my 87 pro compe on the bay. It was my first "real" bike. I hate to see it go, but since the wife won't let me keep it in the house, I'd rather it go to a good home than be banished to my musty garage. I wanted to post on VBMX since I hope one of you guys will end up with it. I also listed my new school ride too.
Here's a couple of links to them:
Dyno Pro Compe Hoffman Momentum I posted here (rather than in the for sale section) because I know you guys are more hip to selling bikes on evilbay than I am. I've always been more of a buyer than a seller and wanted y'alls opinion on how the auctions look and if there's anything I've left out or can improve.

your pictures are blurry and dark. I also never understood people who wont ship worldwide to buyers with good feedback, (except Nigeria of course) really is it that much harder to ship internationally?

Hmmm. Pictures (except the first on on the Hoffman) looked good to me. I guess I'll try to take some pics outside tommorow.
I kept it US only because I didn't want to mess with extra shipping costs outside of the US. Canada probably wouldn't be bad (maybe I'll open it up), but I've heard of several horror stories from buyers and sellers shipping to Europe, Asia, etc.
Thanks for the feedback on the auction. It's looking to be a real stressful week for me. I'm not so familiar with selling (just from helping my wife with some of her auctions) on the bay. Add to that getting rid of something that was so much a part of my life for so long. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm only selling a bike, the memories stay with me.
As far as the pants, I can't complain. She let me quit my job and is supporting me while I go to school full time so I can graduate in December. She puts up with a whole lot of my wierdness, so I let her share the pants a little.

One of us did end up with it!!! The all white 87 PC was my first "real" freestyle bike too, bought and paid for with a summers worth of hard labor. Can't wait to get it! Sean

Super! I'm glad it's going to a good home. I hope you two are very happy together. I'll snoop around and see if I can find anything extra to throw in. I'm going to try to ship it tommorrow.
A buddy of mine is a bike mechanic, I'm going to have him box it and I'll take it to the local mail center.

I have really really wanted a white 87 PC for a long time. The search for one led me to this site. Now what to do with the black one??? I want an 88 so maybe I will sell it for funds when an 88 comes up... who knows.
