I have an original Haro Sport frame. It was my first freestyle bike. It was originally white, I painted it black 20 years ago. I was recently looking for a serial # on it. Can't find it. Where should it be? Did the first run have serial #'s? Am I blind?
I plan on going to Brian P's BBQ again this year. Maybe I will bring it to get it inspected. Any help will be appreciated.

It appears to be an '84 Sport frame - with this assumption I would say that the serial number is on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell and is lightly stamped (as so many of them seemed to be back then).
Remove the paint and you should be able to find it.

Mike is correct, you have a Overseas '84 Sport. As Mike stated the serial number should be underneath the bottom bracket. It should be in this format: 8401XXXX.

I remember hearing at Rockford two years ago, that there some Haro's with no serial numbers, is that correct?

Sorry, no forks. For some reason, I think I ran Landing Gear.

Stephen, I am pretty sure that you are referring to early '85 FSTs. I've had one with no serial # and it was chrome. THats as much as I know about it! All '84 FSTs were white.

But yours isn't the first, Torker made a few in the US like the Masters before switching production to Tiawan. The US Sport is arguably the rarest vintage BMX/Freestyle frameset out there, only 2 are known to exist!
