I don't get it.
Are they really so rare these days or is it just because everyone happens to want them at same time for some strange reason?
I'll admit, i just lost an auction for a red Tuf Neck powerdisc i needed BAD for my build so i'm not very happy with my defeat. Why red, why not blue parts, they seem to all over the place.
Sorry for the rant, had to let off some steam. Now please continue and someone please hook me up with a red powerdisc please, any will do. Thanks.

Well, I sure didn't buy 'em all, but I've got my share...
They're out there...the square corner stem was $75, eBay. Have you tried Biagio (Vert-Ego)? Kinda spendy but he's got a bunch of that stuff NOS. That's where I got the chainring and brakes.
Oh, BTW, this bike...always thought the wheels fit kinda close, but it came with 26s, actually should be 24s, so now I gotta find those...doh...

Do not get me started on red parts and there cost, especially Hutch. Hutch red is so high it is out of the roof.

Try building all your projects with gold anno sometime. LOL
I've found all NOS anno to be suspect lately.
Fading, pantina, different eras and manufacturing differences. Also the all time fave, "shelfwear". All adds up for me to bidding and praying when the truck shows up.
The worst part is, it's not like you can strip a wrong colored part and have it anno'd. At least *I* have no clue about that.
Stay the course, I'm sure red discs are out there. I haven't seen your request in the wanted section yet.

Of all the ano colors red fades the worse. This could contribute to nice NOS red items being in high demand.

Bender hit the nail on the head. It is a shame about red not holding up to the test of time. I sometimes wish it was not my favorite color!

Jerry, yeah I knew about stripping. That's no prob. But I had no idea re-annodizing was fairly available.
Any follow-up advice on prices, places, or personal experiences with that? Did I miss a thread?
Thanks!
