I just picked up this 87 Pro Freestyle frame, it is in very nice condition, chrome is really nice. I don't remeber seeing many in chrome, seems like I see more colored frames, is chrome somewhat rare? May be letting this one go.

oh, and now i know where the "frame designed pat pending sticker" is supposed to go. its easy to spot on non-pink frames.

u got a pic? its easy to tell with a pic. if it has cable guides on the bottom of the downtube, and 4 holes in the dropouts then its an 87 performer

yeah its a 91... the only thing I find wierd is there are no 990 mounts... I thought the performers had them in 90 and 90.

I loved my 88 chrome pft. Would have kept it forever if American Airlines hadn't Dropped it off the top of the luggage rack onto the ground in front of the plane.
(I was watching out the window of the plane and watched them drop it right on the end of the box) I was going to a contest across the country...
Needless to say it was a stressful flight.
I made the package handlers at the gate open the box after I told them my story.
Sure enough the forks were cracked and the top tube was bent...
Heres a pic of it.

and here is the bike that American Airlines bought me to replace it... (I couldn't ride in the contest though)
