Everybody knows I won`t own a TS and a few people know why. Here`s the long story.........
1984. I bought a candy red TS f/f for $150 brand new. My friends own a bike shop and they got it at the Vegas bike show, nobody wanted it. I had just enough money to get it and no extras. My racing friend gave me some parts. 1 3/8 rims!!!! I learned to do Miami Hoppers and ride half pipe on those. One day I was crossing the street and was hit by a car. Almost 2 months in a coma. I just about died. When I was better I don`t remember what happened to the bike. I think my dad sold it with the bent rear wheel. lol.
1985. Another TS but chrome. My friends picked me up for a drive. The TS is in the trunk. LOOK!!!! dirt road!!! He was swirving in the dirt then a tree jumped out and hit us. lol. I was in a coma for 3 weeks, dead again. When I was better I contacted the police about my bike. They said there was no bike at the accident.
1987. Another chrome TS. Trying for a comeback I was riding quarter pipe and bailed. Broke my elbow but didn`t know it untill 2 weeks later.
Thats the TS story. One more thing, I just picked this up an hour ago. It might look familiar to some people. I`m NOT KEEPING IT I will be parting it out.

Dude, I'm so glad you survived all three "accidents". I can't blame you for wanting to get rid of this thing - just do it FAST.

Damn !!!! you should be on that new show on cable "I shouldnt be alive " !!or something like that !!
I was involved in something (not nearly as bad) I wrecked my 1982 Yamaha yz 100 and was in the hospital for 2 weeks and 2 surgeries!!
I think in some way you need to conquer this thing,,, maybe keep this TS and break this curse !! maybe not ,, I dont know,,,, the day I came home from the hospital (in a wheel chair for 3 months) I climbed on top of my moto and sat on it ,, in pain !! but not letting it get the best of me !!! Anyway , I have never owned another Yamaha for myself, LOL !!!
So how much you asking for the stem ???

dont even think about riding it, look how long it took the red sox to break the curse of the great bambino
The TS isn`t 100% mine yet. I have to paint one of my PFT for Jamie then it`s mine. He had this TS on the bay trying to sell it so he can get my PFT. lol. We both decided a trade would be our best option and he did tell me to SELL IT!! I don`t know, I might build my childhood nightmare. If I do all I`ll need is the frame and fork.

wait, what happened to the chrome one from 87?
The 87 TS was my friends bike. It still was a TS and I was on it!!! lol.
Maybe keeping this will bust the Myth! NOT!!!! It`s a good looking bike but it`s not for me. When I`m done with Jamie it`s open season on Trick Star parting out. lol.

Man! Crazy! I think I see it looking at you kind of funny. Paint the FF candy green and sell it to me!!! Quick! LOL, but I do need a USA made TS frame.
Better put some grips on it before it falls on you and stabs you in the throat or takes out an eye.
Funny you mention that Don. When Jamie was here droping off the TS I told him I want to get with you about a bike I want. I hope you still have. It`s black with no rear peg mounts
