This would have to be the definitive signal that it is time for me to stop my pack rat ways. I'm strolling through the cave in which I hide all of my pack-ratted treasures last week, and stumble across a pit (16") bike that's been in their forever, literally 15 years or more, and notice for the first time, that it has a fluted laid back seat post, and 87 performer bars on it... wait it gets worse... strolling in the cave this morning, when I walk past a bike I picked up about seven years ago, and have honestly looked at it 30 times since then and never really noticed, these.....

How good are these going to look, cleaned up on my 87 PFT project. Knocked out the two RAREST parts of that project, the cranks and the frameset, now finding a bottom bracket to fit it should be cake. I gotta stroll through the cave this weekend and make a list.

...looks like Sugino GT cranks to me. Are they something different?

looks like a shimano road bike crank to me

They're on a raleigh aluminum 10 speed, but I think if I can find a BB, and pedals, they'll be just fine on the PFT

I have some of those cranks but they use a euro bb.

Do they something that will adapt to an american bb?

So, you keep all the bikes you find in an actual cave?

Well, that just sounds awesome.

look at the white in the pic, looks like prehistoric cave wall drawings!
