if your talking the peregrine phat jack hubs, either the 14mm or the 14mm slotted, they came out around 96 or so.

I need some hubs for a set of HP-48's for an RL20 II - what ones should I be looking at? I presume it aint going to be Phat Jacks.

I had a set of Phat Jacks on my STA in 1995. Big, overbuilt wheels with 14mm axles that were flat on two sides so they'd fit 3/8" dropouts. Interesting concept but probably not appropriate for an RL-20II. For your bike you'd want the sealed, high-flange Suzues that originally came with the HP-48 wheels; they were readlily available well into this decade but I think they're scarce now.

yeah funny thing about those slotted axles there a really bad idea as they would strip the thread on them realy easy not have a full thread, yeah if i was you try and get a set of the suzue pro 48s with the sticker around the flange, I not that long ago picked up a set of the type that don't have the sticker, brand new in box for some one actually, bit of shop wear an ter but, keep an eye out on ebay they pop up abit from my experience, now what i want is a super pro hp48 in chrome rim for my back wheel on my flatland bike to match my front, man there nice rims.
