You can roll factory with SR MP470 pedals.
Era correct red pedals could be Shimano DX, Shimano SX, Hutch freestyle and KKT's.

Twintoptuber's right, they came with the plastic SR's out of the box.
SX or DX---good choice there if you wanted to go w/ the red motif, and both were out in '84.
