A friend just picked this up at a garage sale. Its pretty rusty but seems to have no dents or cracks. Also seems to be farely complete. Back wheel is no name junk but the front is high flange GT but pretty pitted up. Seems to have been outside for some time. If anyone is interested in it drop me a line. May try the woodbleach trick or maybe have a friend powder it black for me.

I figured this would be easier than trying to answer all of the PMs.

The frame is not pitted. surface rust only. The forks are in pretty good shape. I think the chrome on them may be OK. The chrome on the bars and post are beyond saving. But it doesn't appear to have any pits. The rest will need a heavy overhaul. Bearings are toast and the brakes are siezed.

I talked with my friend about what he wants for it and he is going to keep it for a skatepark rider unless he gets offered over $100 plus shipping. Not sure if that is a good price but he isn't really sure if he wants to let it go or not.
