I could get it on DVD for you, but with me living in Michigan it would take a few days thru snail mail to get it to you. If you know anyone with a set top DVD recorder they could hook you up.

that was crap, terry adams deserved the win. he did WAY more complicated stuff, and had a fever. if those people knew what they were watching they wouldve realized that, but mats run looked fancier. btw did anyone else get a kick out of the anouncer lady who called all the tricks by the wrong name??? LOL

What's with the "FUN CLUB" beating out Matt???

That was definately entertaining. It must have been extremely difficult to plant their feet in all that fog.

On a side note, that has to be the most rediculous show I have ever seen on TV. I mean, figure skaters spinning to see how much toilet paper they can wrap around themselves??? It's quite obvious it's summer in TV land ...

What a waste of time... Lets put them in fog on a slippery glossy floor and use judges who haven't a clue and can't see half the tricks because of the fog.

The producer/director should be slapped upside the head these guys are doing some highly technical tricks and all they show are poorly edited angles, and shots of the judges.

I'm embarassed for the riders 'specially Adams, fly all the way from Singapore with a high fever to ride in those conditions.

I HATE prime time TV.

That was a waste of 10 minutes of my life. I HATE when they try and do all "special effects" like the fog machine, etc... it's SO cheesy!
I feel bad for them dudes. They must have been so frustrated.

And to top it off, Oksana isn't even cute anymore.

that was sh!t. The announcer chick was simply brain dead. The camera people did a horrible job too. I looked at my wife and said, "this is gay". The fog, the brain dead chick, the quick shots to the brainless judges.....then the judges tried to sound knowledgeable. That was bad for our sport. But a good thing that only fat women eating Bon Bons watch that sort or crap TV.

When a hitchhiker was being done, the dumb chick said, "oooooh a wheelie". She said that on a wheelchair too.

You know it bums me out to see the comments made by EVERYONE about this ! All of you MISSED the whole point ....Now matter how muched you think it sucked Flatland BMX Freestyle was put in the lime light .....So be happy Flatland was on National TV and quit complaining ...the only ones that should by whinning are Terry and Matt ..and I feel the rep our sport very well .

EVERYONE I know mentioned it to me this morning. (I had a meeting with 7 guys this morning that didn't know me, and I mentioned flatland freestyle and they had ALL seen it.)

That was great exposure for the sport.

Plus, one of the guys said his 4 year old (who rides his little 12 inch bike all over without training wheels) said that he wants to learn flatland...

All from that show.

I haven't seen the whole thing yet, I watched Wilhelm first (thanks Mark, I recorded the wrong channel, DOh)

Now I am going to watch the rest.

But, Hey guys IT WAS ON PRIMETIME TV...

Whoo Hoo.

Plus, after watching what I did they did a great job of showing that it is more than just Kids on Bikes...

It takes years of practice and hard work, and it is cool.

I thought it was alright, but there is such a thing as bad publicity though. I'd LIKE flatland to look cool, not like some kind of circus freak/sideshow type thing for kids. That show reminded me of the very FIRST X-games, when BMX was shown side by side with "athletes" doing things like bungee jumping attached to a kayak, announcers had no clue, and the point of the show was more about highlighting the "BMX lifestyle" than showing athletes performing their sport. Strange.

We do have to remember one thing "No matter how bad the judges or announcer commits" the fact is FLATLAND got mass tv exposure, Whens the last time that has happen? (X-Games 2001?) I have seen Terry & Matt in person granted that was by far not there best performance, but they at least gave FLATLAND to the masses! Thanks Guys!

i have to give it up for Terry Adams who seem to have a penchant for riding despite being stupidly Sick. did you see him sweating like a river from the fever??!!!!
