Google video link. Filmed in the year 2000 or 2001 in Wuerzburg, Germany.
Reminds me of the movie Quicksilver

Jealous?
Gotta love that direct drive. I wonder if you could do that on today's 20" wheels like a track bike?

Yeah the whole fixed gear biking is so gnarly and she could have used some bonus points with a Wilkerson surfer jump down to the pedals and maybe a "Perry doom" to the grip ride???
Poetry in motion and thanks for sharing KRT.

If that doesn't inspire someone to make Quicksilver 2, I'm going to be very disappointed.

I own a fixie... NO I can't do that-LOL.
Usually use my fixie to ride to the post office and bank, etc...although last week I decided to save gas money and rode it to the package store.

Someone please find out that girl's number for me. I'm in love. I'll learn to speak German in a week if I have to.
I'm sorry to say it, but that girl is out of Pat Romano's league (though to be fair I've never one of Pat's full routines, just bits here and there).
We were talking about those kind of riders in
this thread. Check out the pic at the bottom. I still wonder in they ride in/out of it...

Basic flatland + ballet + fixed-gear track bike w/ a bent fork = YAWN.
I have to admit she has some skills, but she needs to fast forward to, say, 1990?
Oh, and Pat Romano? He was'nt a freestyler, he was a circus freak. They put him on a bmx bike so we could sort of relate to him, but it still had those same funky bars and a fixed gear. His whole family could do stuff like that...

WTF?
I see no ballet in that footage.
Basic flatland??? The most basic trick in there was a surfer - and no - I'm not talking about the ROLLBACK surfer either. The tricks in that video are AHEAD of what the likes of a guy Marrti does.
There is lifelong practice involved in riding a bike like that.
