Pep, we left the cups in so the new cranks would have fresh steele to fit in. Not everyone is a idiot on this site.

Pep i did leave those cups in the b/b so i could pop new cups in......thanks Dave and good eye Pep.....it is a pain in the butt when your putting a build together and then you have to grind or hand sand powder out of a bottom bracket....Rob

i think they were left in as junk, to keep the powder from building up in the BB, then they'll knock them out and install the freshies. That's my take anyways...

Tell the powder coater to put tape in the bb or vasaline
I`m not an expert in powder but that does work on paint.

I'm still up in the air about what forks I will run on my PK, I ran straight Mongoose forks on it BITD, and I can guarantee that it wont have Mongoose forks again. I actually was thinking about the early Raleigh forks because my buddys Rampar was the 1st BMX bike that I remember from BITD, so it would be a kinda tribute to my own "old-skool"...Raleigh/Rampar was makin some cool stuff back then but she may see a set of LGs before completion...
