I've never tried them myself but they look nice....Especially that lever.

there is a shop here locally that has them also but not in chrome .....i need this color but dont know if they work good ...come on there has to be someone who knows if there good or not?

Can't say for sure, but there are 2 things I never trust from Odyssey:

A: Seatposts, bent one the first day during casual riding.(I'm 5'6" 145lbs). First post I ever bent in my life.

B: Brakes, They always seemed barely above Chang-Stars or whatever to me. Never saw one that didn't flex like stretch armstrong. (including the levers)

Sounds like you have a special project in mind for them. That's just my 2 cents.

that would make sense, since chang star made the oddyssey brakes.

Not surprising.

There are some oddyssey products I've really liked, some of their pedals for instance. They just seemed like a company that couldn't decide to be in or out of the biz.

I gotta say that Odyssey is a company that went from making garbage back in the 80's, and now make some of the most popular stuff (that works good, too) now in the modern age of BMX..... They survived for a reason!
