The 200 smacks for shipping puts the money in the sellers pocket instead of Ebays. If Ebay finds out about this ad, they may ban him... They are heavily against that kind of stuff.

Since when does it cost 200.00 for shipping from PA.? At most 65.00 UPS 85.00 if you buy the box from them.If they want 350.00 that is what it should be,but I think when a person specifies 200.00 for shipping they are opening up a can of worms with evilbay as far as over charging on shipping. This would actually give a potential buyer a reason to complain and the seller wouldn't have a chance to voice the reasoning behind it.Evilbay has a tendency to favor the buyer over sellers as most of us sellers know.Myself the bike is worth every penny but the average buyer doesn't.FYI - Nice scooter tho!!!

I sent him a message the other day:
"What method of shipping are you utilizing that costs $200? Is it being delivered by Unicorn or something?"

hehehehe its being hand delivered by an umpa lumpas from charly chocolate factory ...after the film they got sacked and worked for skyway .... you can see them here hiding a coloured tuff down in one of the rooms that them few hundred streetbeat frames were in ??
so after gettin sacked they worked for a courier service ... costing around $200 for a 1 mile drive !

if he wanted $349 for the bike in the first place then he should have just set the buy it now to that. I could be wrong but....did he glue a powerdisc to the chainring..? and as for the odyssey cranks and seat..those are not impossible to find like the seller claims.
lol ozzy, that picture is great.

whats wrong w/ charging $200 for shipping ? we all know what a pain it can be to pack up stuff, and then finding time to ship the stuff out. if its on a costly item, I see nothing wrong w/ a higher shipping price, of course its just going to reflect in the final sale price anyway, but at least the seller would make out by a few bucks...

"Nothing spared!!!"
Wow, quite the salesman. Looks like a bunch of basic budget parts to me. Hi Caliber brakes "Yes, they're the ones with the lockouts"...LOL Oh yeah, I've been looking for those for YEARS!
Still, even so it probably IS worth 3 hun or so, would cost about that to build if everything was new. The shipping scandal is just plain WRONG though.

BTW I hear what you're sayin' Spicoli, but THAT much shipping is obviously trying to avoid eBay fees, which is against the rules completely and CAN get sellers banned or suspended. Charging for materials, time, etc is one thing, but there's a line there that this seller has gone WAY over. It cost me $35 to ship a complete bike from FL to CA, $200 is WAY too much. $50, 60, 65 wouldn't be too bad, but not two hun.
Although I've bought from people like that before. I bought a watch winder box---winds 4 watches and stores 4 more---for 99 cents, $50 shipping.
