posted this in mid-school as well (was told this thread area is better)
i just found a magenta Mike Dominquez signature strikezone being thrown out.....
the bars, seatclamp, cranks, tioga CD spider and chainring, all look to be stock. it came with peregrine super pros (which il hang on the wall since the condition of them is too good). it also has some old HP peregrine tires (ok condition for the age). the forks, i have no clue, they might be general. the brakes are 883 nippons on the front and 990's on the rear (mounted above the seatstays!) since i have a sleeved rotor sitting around from a skyway project i quit on i added that to the bike since it had a old ACS 55 slant stem. the guy added a gyro instead of a rotor.
the MD bars are bent so id need to find them (they are chrome based)
the stock forks?
i'd like to find a sticker set so i can repaint the frame.
i already have a sleeved acs rotor from a project i tried to finish ten years ago (88 skyway streetbeat) that i gave the frame and fork to a kid. i tried to bid on a older one on the evil bay. all i really need is a top rotor headset cup......
i really just need a catalog scan to see what i need.
id be willing to trade it for a gt of the same year (i had one once, got rid of it and now want another one). i bid on the blue one on ebay......(pft) so if i don't win il still be looking for one (87-89 pft)

I don't know much about Diamond Backs either. But you can't beat the price. Sounds like a cool score!
Welcome.

I'm working on restoring my old MD Strike Zone in blue...also with the script decals. Anyone know where I can find pads for the roller-cam rear brake? I'm really hitting a stumbling block there. The magenta one looks awesome!
