I WAS willing to pay big bucks for Woody bars cause that is what I had on my bike BITD.
I did end up getting a pair on a heck of a deal too.
Pure luck it was.

..my old black itson bars were real square at the bottom like that...and they were VDCs
Lets take a vote. Itson bars...........black? white? both? And how would Itson bars cost today?

The black ones are late VDC bars. The white ones are Hutch. Early VDC bars were also square at the bottom but the crossbar was much higher.
Lou - you selling these are no? I could use a couple more pairs. All my favorite builds have them.
I want more feedback on this subject. More opinions. For sale, maybe? Black ones probably. The white is spoken for already.
or Hutch Bad Bars, or Revcore early bars w/o knurling....
I agree w/Jeff square=VDC
ohhhh, s & M slam bars that have been repainted. Lou, you sly devil

That's whay I may have been thinking Pep.
Is lou trying to trick us into believing both sets are Itson bars when he knows they aren't?
LMAO. The black bars are always for sale at GHP. Look at the picture. Can you see the sticker? I peeled it off and didn`t move the bars. The white bars are REAL Itson bars. I painted them then laid them next to the GHP Pro bars and thought to myself if I didn`t know better.....

..any body got a pic of VDC Itson bars for comparison?

Bad bars have the knurling and are stamped "Hutch" where the Itson sticker would be. I painted a set a few days ago but didn't snap any pics. They looked just like the Itson's I've had. Did some early "Bad bars" not have the knurling?

Wulfran - Lou pretty much admitted they are GHP bars. But you are right they "look" like VDC's for sure.
Itson bar history:
VDC Itsons: High cross bar. Cross bar also has a larger O.D. than typical race bars and is larger in o.d. as well.
VDC - Rev "A" Itson: lowered cross bar to improve in "bar hop" type tricks.
Woody goes to Hutch....
Hutch Itson just like his old VDC bars but the bottom is slightly more rounded out. Still has the lower crossbar and large tube diameter.
Woody leaves Hutch as they spiral out of control due to Richard Hutchins lavish lifestyle and a frivilous law suit filed from the family of some punk kid.
Hutch now changes the name to "BAD BARS" and the new ugly futuristic "HUTCH" logo is stamped into them on the downtube right below the crossbar.
Woody signs with Diamond Back and they release Itson Bars which are rarer than hens teeth.
I have 6 emails asking me to sell the VDC bars. Oops, I meant GHP bars. They realy are GHP bars. Now that they look so much like Woody bars, beware! I`m pretty sure there will be some people out there going to make some scams.

Wow, those are pretty similiar. I was thinking VDC bars too, lol. Lou, is the sweep on the GHPs the same?
Anyone got a pic of the Hutch Bad Bars so we can compare them as well?
Here's a pic of my old Diamond Back Woody Itson Strike Zone bars.

i have VDC woody bars that i've owned since he was still on VDC, and i also have the new GHP bars. the VDCs are pretty square compared to most bars...but no where near as square as the current GHPs.

..the GHP bars are cool!
I liked them so much that I became a GHP bar dealer... so if anybody needs a set... check out my website! (www.coloredtuffs.com)
I put a set on my Hutch cruiser 'cause I didn't want to shell out the hefty price that vintage cruiser bars are going for these days! It looks good on it.
Cool bars for sure....

Those strike zone bars are very similar looking to the FBM Apehanger bars I put on my trick star. the FBM's are the closest match to Woody's in a new school bar that I like. Shame is now that FBM has discontinued the chrome ones...Glad I bought 2 pair.
You can still get them at Albe's I think.
