I've posted this many times, but it's made such an impact on my life, that I love telling it and it shows what a class act we all know Bob to be.
1984, the BMXA Trick Team came to the Murray World Cup. I was a grom, hanging with all the others and then they showed up. Out came my hero, Bob Haro! I introduced myself and of course I was wearing my Motives t-shirt and hat and ask Bob to sign them. He then asked if I wanted to help them set up..."hell yeah!" So I hung around and pestered them, but Bob was cool and didn't mind and he even asked me my name...Fast forward to 1986 at the NBL Grands and I'm cruising through pit row and around the corner came Bob! Without hesitation, he says, "Hey Tommy!" Now..mind you, I was a 15 nobody and I have a legend remembering my name! I was on cloud nine! It's probably one of the best BMX memories I have! Thanks Bob!

Pretty cool video, it really makes you think how far the sport has come. Bob was a class act, inventor great rider, terrific artist! Nothing better then the BMX art work of one Bob Haro.
Ah, the lost art of the "kick turn ramp"? I wonder why nobody rides them anymore, I guess it's just not cool not to get air.
