Man - that is sick!
Am I the only one who thinks people totally over-react when someone pulls a awesome trick for the first time? A few of those guys practically got to 3rd base with Foster after they mobbed him.

crazy...
Yeah, sometimes they do go a little overboard celebrating...however, think of the time put in by some of these athletes during practicing/attempting/crashing on these new tricks...and then, when it's finally pulled...

your right Jeff, I thought that too. I said to myself, "go get a room". I do agree with joe too. I bet that has been attempted thousands of times and someone finally does it.

I remember bitd my girl and I bought some whip cream and made our own foam pits, but that's for another forum.
Rad video. Did you guys watch the BMX Plus! videos Jeff sent out when that guy in the side cart jump/launched over the fence and acted like he won the lottery. Talk about drama queen.

That footage is from Jay Miron's Red Bull dirt jumping contest last summer at Whistler B.C.
The dirt jumps were sick and he is having another contest this year.

86EK - I remember watching that sidehack fence flyover when I was about 14 years old and I thought it was the lamest thing BACK THEN...
Other act of drama queens was when Hawk pulled the first 900 air on a skateboard and was raped by tons of other boarders. It was completely sad to watch...made such a good trick turn instantly ghey.

I gotta admit I yawned when I saw it in slow motion, but in real time I got a clue as to how impressive of a trick it really was.

I figure it's an excuse to slam dance the guy myself. That was pretty punk rock right there with the triple whip. I'd hope the girls would storm the stage though if I had just busted that out. Ha.
I was actually on the ramp when Hawk spun that 900 and was amped. I guess you had to be there through the first 12 or so attempts to get the build up. A beer or 10 and your obnoxious buddies probably didn't hurt either.
Yeah, it did look like some of those guys got a little fresh though.

LOL Maurice...
I was watching that vid in my studio when a couple of people, that know very little about BMX, came in and even they were impressed by that madness. I think its a great thing to push the envelope and try the seemingly impossible.
