Anyone here ever do a 3/8 to 14mm axle conversion for a set of Tuffs or Z-Mags? Pics?
leftybmxer
just get a set of axle converters. go to danscomp.com they have them
RIDE A BIKE
I have some , but they do not work for 24t axle the 26t only to make them 14mm
Spicoli
you could upgrade to a new set of sealed Tuffs w/ the allen bolt modular axles...they will fit 3/8 or 14mm.
Old School Daddy
Wow, never seen that Spicoli. Thanks. I'm assuming you can put pegs on. I'll have do some more research.
BartWatchitDude
Yeah. all the hardware is there for pegs, tensioners and any combination thereof.
Hudson
Bart...do you just sell the hardware? I have set of those convertible tuffs, but only have the allen inserts...lmk.
agentheinz
The latest Dan's I think has the converters in 26 and 24.
Maurice Meyer
Yeah, I run a pair of the 24T converters on my coaster brake and a new style front like Spicoli has. Works like a champ although the rear coaster axle still likes to bend.

Hudson:

I don't sell one of anything, but if you need help with your tuffs feel free to give me a call.
