Congrats to the winners.

I voted for both of these- redemption from my miserable performance in heat 1-LOL.

So now I guess I'm 2-2
BOB-O
i'm 3 out of 4 .....on a roll...
nice one guys..love the bikes
Hudson
I too voted for both these bikes. Congrats to the builders.

I must have swayed the vote as I am 4 for 4!!! These bikes really are awesome and I wish I took this contest more seriously to participate. I did not think about the custom aspect and thought we would all be viewing a bunch of different color S/Beats... This is just so much more. Hats off to all who joined in on the fun. Chris

Alright...anyone wanna go out on a limb and call heats 3 and 4 before they are over? Any takers? Bueller?

I won't decide the second place finisher in heat 3 but I will bet the chrome tuff monster will rule the top of the charts...
Bedlam Bikes
All I can say is I studied the pics of all the bikes carefully before setting up the heats. I wanted a good mix of bikes in each heat. Someone suggested that it would have been better if all the orange bikes went against eachother, or that all the era correct bikes should have went together. I couldn't disagree more. Look at the results so far.

Bike #1 first round: BMX inspired SB modeled after the Skyway TA
Bike #2 first round: Custom fabricated parts with conservative colors. Uncommon in the freestyle ring.
Bike #4 round 2 - ERA correct with a "factory" look.
Bike #6 round 2 - Subtle colors that flow together like silk w/a creative use of chrome.

The 4 bikes that are moving on (so far) couldn't be more different than eachother. This is going to get interesting for sure in round 2.

8 bikes...... Voters get to pick 4 bikes!
Top 4 bikes move on to the FINAL!

2-2 here

i'm really curious to see how this turns out!

Are the final 8 bikes going to be mixed up from the previous heats? i.e. split the bikes from round 1 up (etc) so they don't have to go against each other again? (until the end that is....)
Bedlam Bikes
The next round will be ALL 8 bikes that moved on from heats #1 thru 4... (top 2 vote getters from each heat)

All 8 bikes go up against each other. Instead of only getting to vote for 2 bikes, I am going to set the voting where you can vote for 4 of the bikes!

Dang! My personal favorite of the whole bunch didn't go on to the next run, the Drob-inspired bike (#5) is like the coolest bike ever... oh well.
BOB-O
sounds good..let the voting begin.......
Bedlam Bikes
Daniel - I agree... I voted for the Drob bike also.

Don't worry ! **** loves his bike and he's happy with it ! I'm sure he's going to be happy that you guys said that though You know I love it too ! Where's my stem lock at **** ? LOL

I think we are all doing a fine job on the voting and this is TOOOO much fun ! Jeff I thought the next round would be 8 and then 3 ? Either way will work great for me, I'm just wondering

Jamison... you don't think 2 bikes in heat 3 stand out from the crowd ?

Brian

Once again, I'm not surprised by the winners, but by the runners-up—I thought the orange Drob bike would get way more votes, it's amazing.
Brian P
just wait till the "drob" bike is REALLY a "drob" bike

it will be unleashed at rockford

Thanks Daniel, Jeff and Guav.

My bike was intended to be a Maurice "Drob" Meyer replica. I had to make a last minute decision when i was worried that my orange Tuffs wouldn't come in time. Ed and Bart came thru but by that time I had already made parts changes and had photos set up. Thanks Brian P for the red Tuffs and to Jon and Chris for assorted parts. The original parts list included parts from Maurice's actual bike. Thanks Maurice.

Also thanks to Maurice for the technical input and and Scott for the manufacturing of the original, never issued to the general public decals. If anyone else wants a set of these replica decals check with Scott.

Thanks and hope you all get to see it when it's complete at Rockford.
