freestylers!!!!! DID superlace gt hubs come on newer gt performers (98) say !!! I just picked a nice one up, but the hubs look out of place,gt chrome super lace unsealed,, any input would be handy!!!!

No... Around that time they most likely would have come with Gt Mohawk hubs.

The superlace hubs are cooler anyway.

Im thinkin Superlace hubs came out in 87, I dont know when they stopped making them though...

I don't have the catalog in front of me but a 98 Performer would have more than likely had mags- probably those 3 spoke things.

Mohawks were through the 90's, and superlace were through the 80's

superlace hubs are in my 1988-1993 catalogs.
but im missing years 1994-1997 catalogs so im not sure when superlace stopped and mohawk started..
but i think mohawks came in 1995-1996..

my 1998 performer came with unsealed mohawkII hubs,maybe you are confused between all the different hubs gt had??
