OK Lou , what gives ?? Where did you find that jem ? Hell if you want one dont ask Fiola , dont ask Gary T. ...ask chip - did you see what he did with the retro master? That would be a cake walk for him . Sorry to give you more praise brother, but you know if I didnt someone else would. HA HA HA
Just JeffB now
That looks pretty much identical to the Fiola world tour I had back around `85 or so, but I had arayas on mine..couldn`t tell you if they came on it originally.

I already made one but the cross pipe looked like *** because of the booger welds. lol. I cut it up to do it again but I lost the cross pipe.

I'm clueless when it comes to GT's but are you refering to the single bend with cross pipe? The cross pipe was introduced with the double bend came into production, right?

To me it looks like GT was testing the cross pipe platform on an 85 world tour that eventually debuted on the 87 Pro Freestyle Tour.

It's intersesting how the seat stays run through the cross pipe rather than over the top of the cross pipe like the '87 production model.
87 Pro Freestyle Tour
Must be...Must be some kind of prototype or creation...b/c the geometry looks old school...regardless it is a very clean bike.

I think this bike has been discussed here before. As I recall it was a prototype and the pic is from an old french magazine (Bicross?).

lou,

I think there is a test in the december 86 issue of
plus! with a frame like that. It was the first PFT before the double bend. If I get a chance I will post a pic.

I just checked the issue of Plus! I was mentioning and the frame is different....sorry I thought it was the same frame. It is an odd PFT though, pre-mass production model with the same angles as the 87 PFT, but only a single bend.
