Two interesting things in this photo:
1.Dover is where Tom Haugen invented the 360 tailwhip.
2. Rich Hansen designed the graphics for the Haro Master in the early 90's. Someone (Pat Wirz?) has to help me with the year.

That pic of me in the aerobics room is killer. Thanks for all the kudos!! I showed the wife, but she disagreed about it being living room wall worthy though. hahahahahaha
I think my mullet rocked though.
And Tom - what a crazy cat he was back then...
Strike - I looked through all my stuff for old pics, and I swear, I don't have much...but YOU seem to have a lot of the stuff I took..how'd that happen?!

Wow, what a MAJOR Minnesota dominance here, this is very impressive! The fever continues to grow in MN... I hope most of you are planning on attending the Rockford gathering in June? I just discovered this site in December and look forward to meeting up with some MN boys soon! Great shots guys
Here is a shot of me from 1981 moving from racing to freestyle on my PK

Ya know...I think that you would bring the pictures over to my house where we'd all gather for winter riding and then the pictures would just stay there. Most of these photos and negatives I found intertwined within all of my magazines...remember the blue milk crates I'd keep them in? Yeah, that's right.
Oh and yeah, you should get it blown up and put on your living room wall...if nothing else at least in the garage!

Pauly MN, a few of us were in Rockford last year, but I'm hoping to have a lot more of us attending this year.
Oh and thanks for the kudos, I still have a lot more pictures left to post so hang on to your fedoras.

I raced at Brooklyn Park, Shorewood, Richfield, Big Willow, St. Paul Civic Center, The Armory & Albert Lea in Minnesota. I am probably leaving a few out but that is what I can remember for now. I rode some freestyle & raced with Eric Levander & Shawn Sheely. I look forward to tipping a few beers with you guys in Rockford

We took a ton of pictures, but I think most of them are slides, since that's what my mom shot in her camera. Mostly we took pics of Ned doing balance tricks on various downtown Minneapolis fountains and other artifacts. I think most of them are down in North Carolina at my folks house.

Jeff,
Yeah, I don't know why but we always seemed to have a camera around. I can't speak for the other guys but, I think I'm pretty sure I got that from my Mom. She has a ton of pictures from when I was a little kid. She seemed to document a lot of stuff, so I guess it just seemed natural to document what we were doing.

I think Strike and Stagnant were the only ones that had cameras the parents would let use :-)
I can't find ANY pictures (I know I had a couple) but I'm sure 10 years from now they will show up somewhere.
Strike, let me know if you want/need help scanning. maybe we can get them all scanned and burned to cd/dvd and give to our group.

Hahaha, oh man, great screen shots. The riding in this isn't bad, pretty mediocre, but KOP's commentary really spices things up. This video is a must see.
Ok, since DitchWeed is jonesin' for some pics of himself, here are a few I scrounged up. All these photos were taken by myself.

Ferrillo spin, with Ditch's trademark "concentration tongue". I think it actually helped him to pull off some stuff he probably shouldn't have.

Funky? Oh yeah!

If I recall correctly, this trick was called a "Tea Kettle". Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

"close, but no ceeg..." - Jerry
That still makes me laugh to this day!!
And yeah, the "concentration toungue" (LMAO) did probably help me pull some stuff!!
And the bottom trick was an , um Elephant glide or something like that....think it was a Ceppie Mays move.

I have that Cancer Telethon video as well! That night was legendary to us! After that showing, we booked a bunch of shows for that Spring. Gregg (Strike), Pat and I really were nervous that night, but we put on a pretty rad show.
I remember the last song in the show was a Dwezil Zappa song that Jerry (KOP) absolutely loved! Remember that KOP?
