Full Version: Are new Cheng Shin blue skin wall comp 3's rideable?

Yeah, this may be a very dumb question (no, it actually is dumb), but I bought a set of 20" Cheng Shin comp 3 blue skin walls on Ebay and was wondering if I should worry about riding on them. I put them on my 20" that I ride occasionally for nostalgic reasons and was wondering if they are good for real riding or just for restoration projects. The rubber seems good and they are holding air, but I haven't been out on them yet. Anything I should know? The reason I ask is that they went on the rims a lot easier than other new tires I have tried so I was wondering about the fit and quality.

This is what I bought:

Cool, thanks. They look great on the bike.
