Full Version: best method to shine a ball burnished frame > Special Interests > Retro New School
I'm not sure if this is the right forum but as the question is about my sons ball burnished looptail "lil' ripper" I hope this works.

When the "lil' ripper" was new it was pretty shiny but now some of that has faded. All I have tried so far is to clean it with soapy water but that did not do anything to bring back the shine. Is there a certain product that works well to restore the original shine (I'm not looking for a chrome like polish)?
Mothers aluminum polish.

Mothers aluminum polish.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I would try white automotive rubbing compound first (if you have heavy oxidation and scratching), then use the mothers AL polish.
